SICOR VFR-EVO Firefighting helmet

The firefighting helmet VFR-EVO is certified according to following European Standards:
• EN 443:2008 (Helmets for firefighting in buildings and other structures)
• EN 16471:2014 (Helmets for wildland firefighting)
• EN 16473:2014 (Helmets for technical rescue)
• MED

The helmet has a transparent eye screen and a transparent or reflective face shield, certified according to

European Standards EN 166:2004 and EN 14458:2004 and it consists of:

• Shell

• Chinstrap

• Mesh suspension system

• Size adjustment system

Technical features:

Shell

Produced in thermoplastic material reinforced with glass fiber, resistant to high temperatures and mechanical stress, it ensures a high multidirectional protection of the operator's head and ensures protection of the skull, the nape, the frontal region and the entire temporal and auricular surfaces. The shape of the cap is wraparound, longitudinally has a ribbing with rounded edges (crest), which part attenuated by the rear edge and ends expanding towards the front edge. Transversely with respect to the horizontal axis, another rib converges with the crest in the median area of the helmet.

At the back, the rounded edge acts as a drip. Laterally a universal connection system allows the fixing of lighting devices and gas masks.

Available in different colours.

Chinstrap

4 points adjustable chin strap with quick release buckle.

Mesh suspension system

4 points adjustable suspension bands and mesh with leather edges.

Size adjustment system

Cross over size adjustment (52 – 64).

Comfort

Fireproof, made of leather.

Weight

Helmet: 1.220 gr ± 10 gr.

Helmet with face shield and eye screen: 1.540 gr ± 10 gr.
